Brandi Adriana Bey was born in Wilmington, Delaware. She is an accomplished poetess and motivational speaker. Since the age of seven, she has been writing poetry and began reciting her poems at the age of eleven. She now attends Padua Academy. Brandi is currently a resident of Middletown, Delaware. Her desire is to become a Civil Rights Attorney.
Brandi’s accomplishments are many, which include the 2007 Best Talent Winner in the Miss Delaware Juneteenth Pageant. An honor for any young lady her age, she was blessed by participating in the 2008 Martin Luther King Celebration held at Wilmington’s Chase on the Waterfront. She delivered a powerful presentation of a poem entitled “Don’t Tell Martin” to over 4,000 attendees. Most recently, Brandi won first prize at Calvary Baptist Church’s 2008 Teen Poetry Slam.
